What we collect and why

When you use the contact form or e-mail us, we process the personal data you provide — your name, e-mail address, telephone number and the content of your message — solely in order to respond to your enquiry, to carry out a conflict-of-interest check, and, where you instruct us, to take the steps necessary for establishing an attorney-client relationship.

Legal basis

Processing is based on Article 5/2(c) of the KVKK (processing of the personal data of the parties to a contract, necessary and directly related to the formation or performance of that contract) and Article 5/2(f) (processing necessary for the legitimate interests of the controller, limited to responding to your enquiry). Data relating to an established engagement is processed under Article 5/2(a) (expressly provided for by law, including the Attorneyship Law No. 1136).

Transfers

Your data is not sold or shared for marketing purposes. It may be processed on the servers of the technical service providers that host this website and our e-mail infrastructure, only to the extent necessary for the message to reach us.

Cookies and site analytics

This site runs Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit and which pages are read. Until you accept analytics in the banner shown on your first visit, no measurement cookie is written and no visitor identifier is created; Google still receives a cookieless signal that a page was viewed, which is not linked to you across pages or visits and serves only to estimate overall visit numbers. That signal is sent on the basis of our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used, which Article 5/2(f) of the KVKK permits where the processing is necessary for the controller's legitimate interests and does not harm the data subject's fundamental rights and freedoms. If you accept, a measurement cookie is written and the analytics data is processed on the basis of your explicit consent within the meaning of Article 5/1 of the KVKK — consent which, under Article 3/1(a), must relate to a specific matter and be informed and freely given.

Advertising and personalisation storage stay switched off at all times: this site carries no advertising, remarketing or social-media tracking tag. Measurement signals are processed by Google on servers outside Türkiye; where you consent, the measurement data is deleted from our analytics account after fourteen months. Our hosting provider additionally runs a cookieless page counter, which stores nothing on your device.

Separately from Google Analytics, this site counts contact attempts without cookies. When you click a telephone, WhatsApp or e-mail link, or when a form you send is accepted by our server, your browser sends one short request to an address on this domain which records only what kind of link was used and which page it was used on. That request writes nothing to your device, creates no visitor identifier, carries no message content and no personal data, and it does not depend on your cookie decision. Your IP address is not stored by this site.

You may change your decision or withdraw your consent at any time: reopen the cookie choice. Withdrawing deletes the analytics cookies this site placed on your device and asks the question again; you can also clear cookies from your browser settings at any time.

Retention

Enquiry data is kept for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and to comply with our legal and professional obligations, and is then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights (Article 11 KVKK)

You may apply to us at any time to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, correction, deletion or destruction, to object to results produced by exclusively automated analysis, and to claim compensation for unlawful processing. Applications may be sent in writing to the address above or by e-mail to info@lexlata.com.tr. Applications are answered within thirty days in accordance with Article 13 of the KVKK.

Attorney-client confidentiality

Independently of the KVKK, all information you share with us is protected by professional secrecy under Article 36 of the Attorneyship Law No. 1136.
